History
Established in 2012 by Daniel Goodwin, DP Goodwin began as a small family-owned Electrical company in the heart of Eastbourne. From the very beginning, our founder instilled a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering projects that exceed client expectations. These core values continue to guide us to this day.
Following on from this in 2018 we created our construction division within the business. We can offer refurbishments, new kitchens and bathrooms, extensions and loft conversions. Which has seen continued growth year on year, completing a number of diverse and interesting projects. More recently we have invested in creating a Renewables division for the business, due to a keen interest in sustainable energy and its positive impact on the environment.
Throughout the years, DP Goodwin has been involved in numerous landmark projects that have shaped the landscape of our community. From church refurbishments to healthcare facilities and art galleries. Our dedication to innovation and sustainable practices has earned us recognition within the industry.

Meet the team
Dan
Company Managing Director
Dan is our managing director and formed the company in 2012. During this period the company has seen continued growth year on year. Dan is responsible for general oversight across the business and maintaining our client relationships to ensure continued success across the three divisions.
Joe
Commercial Director
Joe is the Commercial director and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company. He is involved with all aspects of the business, ensuring all elements run smoothly. He has 20 years of experience within the construction industry, starting with a carpentry apprenticeship and working his way through the ranks to commercial director.
Sophie
Director
Sophie is our second acting Director. Sophie assists where needed in the business and is involved in a lot of our charity work including being an ambassador for Sussex Cancer Fund!
Stuart
Renewables Project Manager and Technical Supervisor
Stuart has been with the company for a number of years and is our supervisor for our NICEIC and ECA accreditations. He is responsible for certification of works and provide technical support for the engineers. Stuart plays a vital part within the operations of the company.
Stuart is also our renewables manager who is responsible for the design, installation and commissioning for all of our Solar PV projects. He sees the projects through from the quoting stage to final commissioning, along with monitoring the installations for performance and safety including maintenance and repairs.
Dec
Electrical Project Manager
Dec manages all electrical projects along with being a key support to our team of engineers. With a proven track record in delivering exceptional results and a commitment to quality and safety, Dec ensures his projects are completed on time and within budget. His expertise and dedication make him a trusted partner for any electrical project.
Emma
Office Manager
Emma looks after everything to do with the office, from booking appointments to invoicing and everything in between. Emma comes from a construction and lettings background and so puts customer service at the core of everything she does.
